Chanukah is always a joyful holiday, particularly for the kids. Besides its religious ties, it is a time to reflect back on the year that is almost past.
We had just "adopted" our new au pair, Minna Lackman, from Finland. Minna had been hosted by another family, but it didn't work out. Eileen's role as a EurAupair counselor gave us the opportunity to see if she'd fit-in with our family. She turned out to be a real sweetheart and the kids loved her. She was a real Chanukah gift!
