These photos were taken at the wedding of Kathy (Kane) and Ralph Pesant. Kathy is Eileen's longtime friend from her childhood. Kathy visited us fairly frequently back when the kids were babies, when she was still single. We consider Kathy one our closest friends. She was a bridesmaid in our wedding.

Back when Bruce's employer (by contract at the time), Orbital Sciences Corp (OSC), was in its heyday, it held family picnics every September.

Bruce was still on contract with Orbital Sciences Corp (OSC), but the program he should have transitioned from ran behind schedule and he could not start on his next expected project until the first one finished. After it did, there was no long-term work at OSC in Virginia.

We had read that there was this place west near Interstate 81 in far western Virginia called "Route 11", and they made (make) some killer potato chips.
