January and February of 2003 became a transitional time for our family.
Bruce was in Arizona working on a contract for Orbital Sciences Corp (OSC) Launch Systems Group (LSG), where he'd been since October 2002. This was the time of the "DC Sniper" and one of the harshest winters we ever experienced in that house. In these photos, we knew our beloved Willi would be leaving us soon. But we had no idea what baggage our next au pair would bring.
