When we visited Rachel and still had our van (with wheelchair lift), we'd take her out to dinner, museums, zoos, gardens, and even the beach.
Rachel loves being outside, but not in the hot sun. She just loved getting "out". Who doesn't? She was having a skin irritation problem with her right arm, which she typically kept flexed (up). The cast was to give the inner-elbow skin time to heal.
